The Bostock v. Clayton County is a recent case by the Supreme Court that entailed
evaluations on Title VII of the Civil Rights Act as the regulation guiding discrimination at work
concerning gender (Lund, 2020). Employees in the case faced work termination and other
implications because of their sexual orientation. The interpretation of the Title VII considerations
led to the argument in this case. The plaintiff in this case argued that the discrimination they
encountered was due to their sexual orientation, and anyone of the opposite gender could not
face the same.
